3DS nub question

Ok,i was wonding how or if its possible to disable axis and plane restraints. I could've sworn that they were off before because i usually just model in perspective view and i was freely moving verticies around in xyz. When i used the xform gizmo, however, i was locked between axis and plane restraints. I was just wondering if theres an option to turn it of or use a perspective plane restraint.

right click on snaps toggle. Click on the options tab. Under translation, unclick the axis constraints.

Or you could just turn off your snap

thx but that doesnt fix the problem. its kind of hard to explain. ok, when i turn of the xform gizmo u have the pointer showing x y and z. but i can only have either one axis activated or 2 to make a plane, but i cant activate all 3. im wondering if i can set it up to where i can just rotate my model around and move around verticies without axis restraints; where it just moves them around in the x and y plane relative to the perspective from which im viewing my model. sry if it doesnt make much sense
