This is a few years old allready though. And i don't point it out to say 'OMG OOOLD', but rather to point out that there's probably been some more development in this area since.
I think this particular website's not been updated for around two years now, maybe a bit less.
Does anyone know of any others like this?

This guys work is a screensaver in Ubuntu. I recognize a couple of those from it. The screensaver draws them out.
