the animation looks 200% time-lined. I doubt theres any feasible way to have animations like that going on in-game, because similar moves are causing different animations in the video.
Looks promising, but I wouldn't buy it on the strength of the teaser alone. As hawken pointed out the animations look like they where done all in one scripted pass not part of any kind of game play. It's an interesting idea though. I would love to see a revial of the side scroller, even another Odd World would be great.
With the animation they have it could be a Space Ace style QTE game , although I don't see that there isn't any reason why they couldn't just have thousands of animations, some of them unique, that play depending on your exact situation/location. It would be a cool hybrid actually.
The trailer has been uploaded to Gametrailers.com which mentions that the game is being pitched for PC, althought that might be the default "we don't know what this is supposed to be on".

PSP ish aspect ratio, PSP game?
"Watch this concept animated video for an in-development indie videogame called Limbo, from Danish artist and game designer Arnt Jensen."
no gameplay yet. just an animated concept. but i dont see why it would be that hard to take those animations and strip out what you need.

I second this...too bad the studio doesn't want to do games anymore.
