if you want to try out vista its up on the microsoft site, have to download the iso and burn it to dvd or buy a dvd they burn. if you have some free time or a spare pu pu try it out and tell us whats cool. dont really have time to try it myself right now.

I have an MSDN developers account, and I've had Vista RC1 up and running for 3 weeks now. What would you like to know? Aside from being pretty, it's rather annoying unless you disable UAC. Compatibility is fairly nice, I had HL2 running fullspeed. Network layer is redone, so network speed is a little faster. The new windows media player is wonky though.

It's really not a major upgrade. Feels like a service pack with new skins.

And from an admin side, it's a nightmare.
