Bleh, I'm not sure. There were some funny parts but I think the topic may have been a bit too niche (Though I'm certainly dorky enough to understand it all ).
It felt like a WoW commercial at times. The website headline and in-episode cutscenes certainly seem to indicate that Blizzard somehow had a hand in the show.
Though not a WoW player, I enjoyed it. Often it seemed there was too many game specific things instead of jokes, but overall it was neat to see how the put it all together.
Was most of the dialogue of the show written so only people who play WOW would understand, and everyone else would be like "what the hell are you talking about?". That's what I'm asking all the time. Stupid WoW addicts.
Pretty funny, it was just disturbing how big of an advertisment it was for WoW. Wonder if Blizzard approached them to do an episode on it or if they did it themselves.

i felt the complete oppisite, i mean they portrayed people that play wow as fat, disgusting slobs who have no life. not much of an avertisement if you as me. my favorite part was when the 2 blizzard board members were asking each other if they had an account, and they both were like " oh god no, i have a life"
I agree with Arsh. It also poked fun at how ridiculously serious some people play these games with the whole thing about people flipping out over their character dying, or their kid's character dying.
It wasn't the season premiere. It was the 2nd half premiere. I believe since about season 5 or 6 they've split the seasons up into 2 segments of 7. Basically its tiring work so they take 3 month breaks between each. I'm downloading it as we speak..
I also agree with Arsh. The Blizzard guys kept talking about players having no lives and we got to see the boys balloon into pimpled, greasy fatasses - not exactly the best ad ever. Funny 'cause it's true, though
Works for me. I havent had a TV for nearly 5 months, but everyone here at school seemed so excited about this episode I decided to check it out. Definately enjoyed it.
it wasn't harsh at all, they didn't push any boundries... they just played they game and killed a guy. Barely even a story. They hardly ripped on wow, or anything else. Lame lame lame.

Funny stuff nonetheless.
