anyone else download this classic on xblive? The revamped controls are great. Finding people to frag is simple. Wonder if they'll port Ultimate DOOM.

Yeah I was kinda disappointed to find it wasn't Ultimate DOOM since that was the best version but hell it's still nostalgic fun... apparently my m8 is ranked number 1 in the leaderboard because he has no life.

wish it would save the screen size settings and be able to change the controls. my guy doesn't turn around fast enough

for those of you who want to play Doom on your DS lite, check out this homebrew doom engine; you just drop in a .wad file and it will play, so you can play doom 1, 2, final, hexen, and heretic
its awesome for bathroom time, and there is also wifi play!

ok dumb question, how do u load a homebrew doom onto the DS?

well you would have to get a flashing device such as the PassMe 3 that will bypass the bios of the NDS, and a cartridge that can hold the data such as the Supercard SD or the Supercard SDmini.
I got mine from www.winsunx.com and together they were around $60 including shipping. It flew from China in about 3 days very surprisingly, and i am completely happy with my purchase.
Once you get it in the mail, you simply drop the .NDS file onto your SD card, along with the .wad file, and pop it in and hooorayyy doom on your ds! your bathroom breaks at work will never be the same.
