A decent portable reader with an eye-friendly display is something I have been wanting for a while now and this new
device from Sony looks quite promising.
Here is a rundown of the screen technology it uses...

What do you guys think? Anyone interested in something like this? Anyone have a portable reader already and wants to share their likes and dislikes?
Edit: I realise portable readers have been around for a while now but I have been waiting for something with a screen that doesn't obliterate my retina.

Hehe. I know portable readers are not a new technology I was referring to the new device from Sony.

Probably in Japan only
Anyways, the tech is nice, but the cost is a complete turn off
And it would be nice if there was a way to connect it to your portable to download text on the go (shouldn't take to long since text only doesn't use much space).
Actually having integrated grps/umts support for that would be even cooler.
