bodypaint 3d community?

I've had bodypaint for a while, never had it in a studio, but now since I'm freelancing I'm relearning the tool. I know how to use the program for the most part and I've read the manual. My question is, is there a forum that's dedicated to Bodypaint 3d? I've looked and looked and can't find one. I just want a community that knows their program, so I can dig through threads, learn more, and ask questions. I've never liked that Maxon doesn't even have forums set up for its users (kinda dumb).

We have a number of licences for it at work, and I really like it. It does suck for sure though, when I run into a problem (I'm usually the one others come to for assistance with it). The best I ever seem to get it googling for it. There are some Cinema4d forums out there, and sometimes you can get lucky on those.

Yeah, I've gone to some c4d forums but I've never really seen one with the bodypaint section... and when I do there's only a few post from a few years ago. I mean I see more c4d forums with active zbrush sections?!?! lol. Oh well. I can get bodypaint to do the job, and its awesome. But I'm sure there are lots of tips and tricks I don't know about, and there's some oddball things that occur that I'm sure a forum would really help out with.

I recorded a video tutorial for bodypaint in conjunction with Photoshop and 3dsmax as part of my Delilah series. I'm almost there in terms of editing, documenting and uploading. I've made it to the UV stage, and next will be texturing. Not sure how soon, but hopefully in the next month or so.

dunno, I find bodypaint pretty easy, I know the first 10mins, I had a gazzillions questions, but after, easy, I can use it pretty well, its just like deeppaint, its GREAT

Yeah, once you realize that there are only a few buttons on the toolbar you'll want to use (paint brush, eraser, eye dropper and projection paint mode) it gets alot easier.

Sweet, I didn't know this many people here used bodypaint. I know there are a few dvds out there. I'm currently very interested in getting the new gnomon creature texturing dvd . Which is cool for tips and tricks, but I can't ask the dvd questions when something wierd happens. I'm not really having any problem setting things up and starting to paint. That part is pretty easy... layers, all that fun stuff was pretty easy to figure out.

arshlevon - I'll be sure to do that. I just didn't realize that many users here used bodypaint.

Fordy - I realize there are a few training dvds out there for Bodypaint, but I'm more interested in having a community that I can learn from. I seem to learn a lot more about a program when reading about it from people in a forum because they tend to discuss the tidbits not many other people seem to address.

B1ll - Wow wow... you use bodypaint?! CHEATER! I thought you were a true oldschooler... ah, you've let me down friend. HAHAHA j/k

Xenobond - Yeah I only use a few buttons. It took me hours to figure out (by pure dumb luck) that the ctrl key temperarily activates the eyedropper tool. I don't even think that's mentioned in the manual, I just found it by accident.

tried bodypaint, but just can't get over the "dirty feeling" of the airbrush, compared to photoshop. any tips?
