schtroumpf seems like squashed banana , meaning : no pie ! ( there isnt banana pie ! ) the uvws are a tad caotic, still easy to understand , i guess that adds to the challenge
still use'n my unwrap cause i don't want to lose detail in his face. i think i'll try one using firestarter's so i can get a closer feel for his changes.
Here's my first attempt at real character painting. I figured I'd give this SDK a go. Basically my character is a poop gremlin. Half of him is made of poop, the other is toilet paper. I don't know how I thought of it, but here he is so far. I'm open for critiques!

I start texturing him with the old UVmaps, i think i can put the face in the new ones.
