Hi, I've been looking all over the net for the schematics of a LAV III Styker. I've found plenty of pics but no chematics.
Does anyone here have it? Or know where I can find it?
Thanks!
The reason why there is very little info on them is because they are the worst and probably most dangerous APC / hybrid tank on the planet. Over 11 of them been blown up since 2004 in Iraq, another 5 rendered immobile. Over 30 troops have died since 2004 in Stryker related incidents. Releasing schematics would lead to more insurgent successes, I guess.
I even believe there is a film about how bad they are, covering the development of this, the US army's biggest cashcow deathtrap.
Anyway, that's why theres not much in the way of schematics - they are not very much liked. Plus the LAV III is the mounted tank version, however I read that are not used due to not being able to fire the cannon sideways (the apc falls over).
