anyone ever wanted to scale in a specific direction while editing your UVW maps? max 8's default mapper is a complete pain in the ass compared to its predecessors, if your mapping the way i do. which is to planar map and stitch, and iron out any distortion manually and with a small amount of relax.
but ive never found a way of scaling the uv's in any particular direction i want, only a global scale tool. any tips here?
