Working on a piece for my porfolio. It's a futuristic artillery tank, with a heavy payload of missles on it.
I am about 80-90% complete, although I have only put a few hours into the texture. I still need to add more details to it (Dirt, scratches, dents, etc.)
I would like to get some critique on what I have done so far. I've asked a few friends but all I seem to get is the "looks cool" response. Please feel free to bust my balls.
If you think it's crap please tell me.

I like the design. the large forms and relatively simple texture design would work well in an RTS. It'd look quite at home in Command and Conquer.
3600 polys seems like quite a lot for the amount of detail you've got there. I think you might be wasting way more geometry in the treads than is necessary given that they're almost completley obscured by geometry.
always nags me when aircraft fetishists try to model tanks.
ends up being some sort of wingless, tracked, heavily armoured assault gunship thing, that'd be best suited for getting in quickly, guns blazing, rockets whizzing,
miniguns clattiering, and bombs dropping, and then return to base for a reload.
tanks are heavily armoured mobile sniper rifles.
not lumbering battle fortesses.
panzer power!
