IS there a plug-in that someone can recommend that completely removes edge loops and their coresponding vertices? I can remove them now by selecting them with the edge loop button and hitting remove. However, it leaves the vertices behind.
Also, is there a good conform tool plug in? I tried the one in max, and it failed big time for the mesh I was attempting (turned it inside out and squahed the ends). I mean like one that will morph a mesh of a different topology/count as close to possible to one another. Shrinkwrapping if you will.

ctrl + backspace
backspace removes, with ctrl it gets the verts too
Thanks!
I guess that leave my second inquiry. Im having to manually snap vertices at this point.

Hot dang I didn't know that. I was converting to verts first, then removing loops, then verts. Thanks Cholden!

Also, if your Mesh seams to flip when conforming, apply a Reset X-form to it and your targetmesh in order to check if they are perhaps mirrored.
For example, in edge mode, select and edge, then click Loop. Ctrl click on polygon or vertex mode, and it will select all polygons or verts along that loop.
Also this ctrl conversion works in the UV editor as well.
