Im moving out of my studio space at Gage Academy today. They gave me the space original without checking with all administration. So anyhow, Ive lost it.

I cant work in my room, and I really have been on a ball working in this space the last 5 months. So anyhow if you know some friends on the west side who wouldn't mind some extra income per month and have a tiny bit of extra space to rent out. Could you forward the below to them?

In the meantime while this transition is happening. Any suggestions as to not loose my steam? I can't describe how hard it is to work here for me.

Thanks.

Could you please explain why you can't work in your bedroom or wherever you live? I seem to recall something about you living with roommates who are loud, but dude you should be able to work where you live. If you're that particular about where you work, you will have issues with whatever game company you hope to work at. Generally game studios tend to have you in a cubicle or some sort of open room with your teammates visiting and making a bit of noise around you, differing lighting conditions etc.

$150 seems like a big waste of cash when you could easily goto a quiet late night coffee place or the lit desks at a public library.

Ebagg, its not what you think. Loud is a relative term. Its mostly not healthy for my mental stability as there are too many distractions. When Im at the studio, I can focus. Also, realize I was in a studio with other artists and sometimes there were noises. It more allowed a stable place to work.

I can't bring my desktop into libraries or coffee shops. smile.gif

Edit: Oh, and my space basically was a cubicle. wink.gif
