no more polycount but boards ?

Hi,
now Polycount is not anymore a model gallery/inventory (for download) until you "rearrange" it (almost what you say on the "Wip" page), but it lasts a long time ... if you don't plan soon "reopening", can't you make the site read-only for modelers and visitors (if you rearrange it) and maybe with "the old interface" (if you're working on the site engine) but well let the site be "online" ? Furthermore, the previously hosted modelers' sites aren't available too, sad if we can't reach they personal gallery too

Somewhere cheapy has an archive of old models. I'm not really sure whats going on with the site, i'm pretty sure everyone involved has pretty busy lives so you're going to have to just bear with it most likely. Sorry

yeah it sucks that wanna-be mod authors don't have a free database of model/artists to rip off. Oh well, I guess they might have to grow some tallent. /shrug

I have asp.net/sql experience. If you need some volunteers, I may be able to fit in some time in a few weeks. My sites were mostly internal application style sites, but I think it would be fun to try a commercial-ish site.
