Reminds me a little of the creatures in Descent.
The eyeballs themselves don't look particularly round (mainly in side view), but good luck trying to fix that in Zbrush. Some of the detail, particularly around the eyes, feels a little 'wobbly'. Personally I feel like the mouth is too human for the rest of it. Also some of the forms just feel sort of random and generic without actually making any effort to describe anything in particular be it bone, muscle, cartilage, flesh etc. A good example would be the back of the underside of the head, which feels a bit like crumpled leather or something in that side view.
Looking really nice but I have to agree with DAZ on the mouth and the detail arround the eyes. It kind of looks like a human in a mask. Change up the lips a bit and clean up the area arround the eyes.
Keep at it
DAZ - I totally agree with you. The eyes aren't round at all, this mesh started off as a sphere. Lesson learned - I should have exported the base mesh and cut out sockets for the eyes. Oh well, I might be able to fidge it around a bit and fix that area. Yeah not much thought went into the back of his head, im still working on it. Ill post some new images when I get some more done. Thanks for the crits guys!
