Very much a WIP. Based "loosely" on a concept from the parasytic moon project. Thanks goes to Mathias Kollros for painting it and Kenny Carvalho for letting me model it.
The tentacles are underdetailed, but I'm on it. It's just a little slow
Hehehe. If I ever make a jogger, I know what headwear he'll have.
spacemonkey; the scale is like... 3.5 humans tall, or something. It'll show better when I've finished detailing him and put him in a scene for some scale refs.
Soul; if you want I can add a set of testicles to him.
Thanks, no wires to show really, the base is dead simple and the subdivided wire is just plain white
This version is a little more complete when it comes to the modelling (still have high freq detailing to go), but it lacks proper maps and stuff. Leaving that until I got the modelling done.
wow! that shader is beautiful. how on earth are you getting that wet slimy look - are you using a fancier method than standard specularity with adjustable eccentricity? please tell.

one word : fabulous, i specially like the tenticles since they actually seem bony from the inside eheh, great job on the head ! well done
Actually, I'm no huge fan of squishy squashy... it's just that I'm building stock-models for a porno-project... It will sell well in Japan
Seriously though, that's a seriously good looking thing. With that funny specular I had to second guess if it was a model or painting :P.
Also, just pissanting, but those little bits of dirt on him, do they show on the specularmap?
Fuck. Gotta keep balls off my mind.

Thanks all, feels good that you like it
Really like the style of it, especially the head.
ver nice... has a wonderful 2d graphic novel feel to it

It's using a HDRI coupled with fresnel reflections.
me wants to hump it.
