3DS Problem

Okay, so I have this issue when using anything that requires moving / resizing. Instead of letting me scale down one axis, it does it to scale, and instead of having red, green, and blue line, they are all red, and one of them is sometimes gray. If anybody could give me a solution that would be nice.

I already tried file-->reset.

More info needed. Try hitting s a few time to change the scale type, and hit x to change between widget.

Yeah, the widget is deactivated. The X hotkey is the default for this. Also F5 thru F8 will cycle the directions, so you don't have to use the widget.
