I thought that giant balloon idea had some merit, at first. I mean, assuming one would want to destroy the Earth. But why turn the thing into a magnifying glass when you could just as easily make it opaque, thus blocking the sun altogether? Seems cheaper. What a dolt.

Problem is there are quite a damn few hardcore obsessive christians at my workplace and they LITERALLY talk like that all the damn time, I lose my rag with 'em on a regular basis ;o
It's sad when religion just totally screws people up in the head to the point of being blind to any logic.
