Woooooo LO REZ!
I'm planning on making a group of desert explorers reaching an oasis or something. Might throw in a camel or two.
Should have some wip stuff before bed.
Like I promised, here's one of the explorers I've knocked up. I'm still not 100% happy with it and I am 4 tris over budget for him, but that's easily fixed.
Still have an hour or two before bed, might try my luck with the camel!
WOOO... CAMEL!
Got the base shape down and have a few polys left to play with. Have to do some minor tweaking to match the proportions and style of the explorer.
Should have the base terrain and a few more explorer dudes by tomorrow, then start cranking with the items and textures... WOOOO!
I was actually going to do a close up shot of the camel's toe for a laugh and edit the subject of the thread to (caution: camel toe close ups). But I thought it would have been too lame. Then I remembered... this is polycount forums. ANYTHING GOES!
As for the knocked up part... well, what can I say. I'm a stud!
But I'm suprised you didn't me on this as well: "Like I promised, here's one of the explorers I've knocked up."
Then further down the post: "Still have an hour or two before bed, might try my luck with the camel!"
Here's some more progress I've made in this comp. I've completed 3 base models for the explorers and as requested by sectaurs, I've added more camel toe!
But for now, he's just a WIP screen of the 3 explorers. I'm hoping I get time to do some more tomorrow. Want to get these mofos unwrapped and then build the terrain for the scene.
THEN TEXTURING!
I don't think I'll get this one in on time.
I've been offered an art test for a games studio in Melbourne, so any time I have to spare is being used for that.
I'll post the model for that once the test is over and I get permission to show their concept art.
I'll have to come back to this one when its all done though.
