HL2 arcade!

was in town buying a new external HDD and popped into the arcade, stumbled upon this!


it's linked to the net, but I don't think PC players (or mac, for that matter, gotta love bootcamp) can interact with the arcade players as it's called "HL2 survivor"... the guy playing it was making mincemeat of the other players networked in the Arcades of Japan.

I wish I could play it. Aracdes are dead in the US. I haven't seen a good arcade in a long time

The namco arcade by my parents house had the newest games and the best competition for Street Fighter. Its long since closed now.

I read about this last summer. Too bad the interface is utter crap for the game. But the new models and stuff look quite nice

Yeah, I remember this last year, I also remember the huge argument that was in regards to its UI.

I once spent my summers at the beach hanging out at the arcades. I could go through $20 a night. The best arcade I can remember was destroyed by a hurricane. Since then, I haven't seen many, or they're broken or expensive.

This is really cool. I hope arcades can make a comeback with new ideas and technology.
