Yo what is up polycount! I just finished this up over at the mini game art challenge at cgtalk, and wanted to pimp my latest model to yall.
The challenge was 'battle babes' - I decided to go with a lucha libre boxer named 'rosa peligrosa'. C+C welcome, of course. Enjoy!
my bad for the semi-poor image quality -- i saved them as compressed gifs by accident.

cute little body too, good job.
'bout the only crit I'd have is that the skin and shoe shading / highlights doesn't seem as crisp as the rest of the texture.
The big gloves dont work too well either, because she has normal size-shape arms, and because the gloves have a thumb that is in very odd place, makes me think that her hands are terribly wrong. Maybe, if you moved the gloves down to the point where the real thumb would go into the glove thumb, it would look better.
Everything else i like.
and i disagree about the gloves too, they look good oversized. it's a nice silhouette. you may be right about the thumb though, toomas.
Is that Strong Bad's girlfriend?

Rosa Peligrosa es muy caliente!
the model and texture for the most part is really nice,, just the photo belt throwing it off
I could be wrong.
Toomas - I'll fiddle with the position of the gloves, but to me the thumb on the glove would match with where her real thumb is...at least when I drew my orthos haha, I'll mess wit it.
The texture could use more work too, I had like an hour to finish the belt and the gloves before the deadline so I shall redo those, and sharpen up the texture a bit more. Thanks for the crits though, they were helpful.
AdamBrome - haha yea I knew ppl would be confused on this, which is why I wrote a backstory!
"her father was the local lucha libre champion of his town, but since lucha libre wrestling didn't allow females, and she wanted to be one real bad, her father settled for second best and taught her to box instead (where females are more accepted). now, after her father's untimely death at the hands of local lucha libre mob bosses, she has donned her father's mask to avenge his death as the badass boxing luchadora, rosa peligrosa."
Thanks again yallll
Edit: quickie to show you what I mean...
Just played with the levels and hue/sat adjustment layers. Makes the colors more vibrant and "pop". Also moved the head down a smidge.
Have you thought of banging her up some? Maybe some bruises or red marks on her knees/elbows?
