Heres a model Im working on right now for fun. I did a paintover in photoshop to try to figure out how I might texture it and to see if I had went overboard with the detailing on the mesh. Im going for a exorcist type of feel with it. (Click the image to see the mesh with paintover)

Tho the ear looks kinda wonky and the back of the head could use some damage or stuff.

I think his nostrils are a little too perfectly spherical. other than that, looks boss.

Post the model image in here. I think your paintover hasnt done it justice.

You definitely need to figure something out for that forehead though. wrinkles or that nasty slicing cragginess. I'll harass you at work tomorrow though--dont typing.

Looks awesome!! I would definitely give him some hair, some sort of Jack Nicholson crazy hair would benefit it.

Toomas - I will do more with the rest of the head. Just gotta come up with something. Maybe I will go with some kinda torchered look like from Hellraiser or 13 ghosts. Dont know yet.

Sectaurs - I think your right about the nostrils, I'll fix that.

Looks awesome bryan. hows about a tutorial after your done on the creation of the head model for us non-character artists

The forehead doesn't seem to fit in with the cuts and dirt of everything else, just dirty it up a bit there too.

The skin looks to healthy. maybe its just me. I think more greens/blues might help. Make him a lil more bruisy.

I wouldn't use the word "healthy", but i see your point and agree. As of the moment (paintover, ofc) he's just kind of cavedirty.. with clean wounds :S
On another notice, from what's been said, I think I'd throw in a bit of yellow here and there as well, or a yellowish touch. At least on the teethside. (Is it just me, or is the ear far more smooth than the rest of the skin? bumpwise~) Looking real great, anyhow d(~_^)
