need help finding reference

i am having a hard time finding reference of homeless people, not just the sterotypical hobo with a beard and stocking cap. like gutter punks, herion addicts, squatters. real nasty looking people. i have found a few decent pics but i generally like tons of refernce before i start something. i was wondering if anyone has stumbled across anything that might fall in this catagory? any help would be cool.

Arsh you have just described like 90% of the people on 3d.sk You not a subscriber? Honestly there are tons of folks on there that really fit that description.

yeah i am a subscriber, but i have really grown to dislike 3d.sk there is just not a good way to find what i want so i spend hours looking for anything. besides that every 3d character made is sorced from the site. i like using 3d.sk for pore and wrinkle overlays, but i try and avoid the place unless i need it. i have been lookg for awhile, and while there are some interesting messed up people, i am not so much looking for messed up faces as i am for clothing. i need to portray several sqatter type people, and i am pretty confident about just painting the faces from ref and messing up the teeth and putting a little wear and tear on the face. there is just a certain goodwill style of clothing i am trying to find refs for, like clothes that might not fit correctly or full of holes, and dirty. i found 2 or 3 gutterpunks on 3d.sk and they are good, but i would like a little more, if you look for gutterpunk on google, you dont really get gutterpunks, just a bunch of bands and fashion punks.

Find some tramps in the street and offer them $5 to have a few photos taken. I'm sure they'll jump at the chance.

In the UK generally the people to whom you refer are known as crusties They usually hang around Brighton, are white with dreds and a dog on a rope. You'll find many of them at rock festivals, such as Glastonbury:

awesome DAZ!!! you win, yeah i need better internet skills, finding reference is always like pulling teeth. since you went to all the trouble finding those how about you just go ahead and model and texture about 15 or 20 of these guys for me!!

Oddly enough, browsing through these pics is actually really inspiring. Homeless peoples lives really are etched into their faces. Cant recall the last time I made some Art for myself, hhhmmm. Btw, did you notice flikrs new 'cluster' feature? Damn handy, tons of good stuff using that:

i have never used flikr before, pretty awesome. yesterday it wasnt working for me, i kept getting "flikr is down at the moment" messages. i like it a lot more than google images, i also feel kind of lame, like i should of known about this. thanks again mate.
