Rendering ur demo reel?

Well I want to render my demo reel to put on my web page (www.bensanderson.net) I would like to put a low res and a high res. But I dont know what options to use, I am currently using Adobe premiere to render it. I was told I should use Microsoft AVI as File Type and DivX Compressor but it doesnt look that great. Any tips would be great thanks.

PS - I was unsure if this thread should be posted here, sorry if it is in the wrong location.

I've heard a lot of good things about using Canopus for compression. I'm about to be in the same situation here updating my reel to put online, hopefully you get some good answers, eh?
