whoops - in a mini-rant about people misusing the term "graphic novel" he also missed the fact that loads of the tintin books were really collections of strips that were published first in newspaper supplements and then a magazine, the story evolving week after week. You can usually spot the cliffhanger and mad plot development every 3 pages.
