I've been playing this game called moola for a few days now. Its a very interesting idea that its based on. heres its site:
http://www.moola.com/
and this is an "about me" type page.
http://www.moola.com/moopubs/content/about/about_moola.jsp
The gist is this, you watch an ad, Moola gives you a penny for free, then you play a game of either rock/paper/scissors or a gold nugget game, against somebody else at the same level. If you win you double up and move up to level 2, playing for 2 pennies. If you win again you double up and move to level 3 and play for 4 pennies. If you do the math you'll see that once you get to level 18 or so it's actually very substantial payouts. The downside of course is that if you lose, you have to start over from 1 penny at lvl 1. But you dont always have to play at the highest level. You could for example, continunally do 2 penny bets, even if you've already earned 20 bucks. You can stop whenever you want and get a payout, and you'll be sent your money. The highest level is level 30, at which you get 10 million. Of course that will probably never happen, but there have been a number of people who have been cashing out in the hundreds of dollars. Personally, I've never gotten above a dollar before I've lost it.
Anyways, all the money comes from advertisers who are paying out real money because the site can guarantee that you watched the ad (youre asked a simple question about the ad after it plays. easy to memorize answers).
While the ro-sham-bo game is mostly luck, I think you can get some pretty solid odds with the gold nugget game if you play logically. Im hoping the'll eventually add a skill based game like chess.
Right now its in beta, and I have 3 invites if any of you want them. First 3 to post their e-mail adresses get them.

What is the "gold nugget" game?
as far as the games, ro-sham-bo is best out of six, with an extra little rule. The gold nugget game gives you 6 nuggets with numbers 1 through 6. A random numbered nugget is placed on the table between the players between 1 and 6. You then choose which of your nuggets to place on the table and so does the other player. Whoever placed the higher numbered nugget gets the opponents nugget, the one on the table, and your own, into a pot of sorts. Whoever has the largest pot at the end wins.
The games arent particularly amazing, however, what I do find amazing is this idea these people came up with. Its genius... Really wish I'd come up with it. A really great bussiness model they've made. If this gets popular, they'll be freakishly rich.
