Hey everyone, just got the ok to post this stuff. Woo hoo! First shipped game! I did mostly equipment, set dressing and inventory icons, along with a few enviro pieces. I'm still gathering a ton of assets I did, which I'll post here after I track them all down.
Awesome job Joe! Hopefully Bobo, Tokidokizenzen, Modeling Man and Tarwater will post up some as well. I finally was able to locate a DVD copy after 3 days of hunting it down. I think Boston area must've gotten all of 3 copies...at least it sure seemed that way. I never much liked Diablo but I like Titan's Quest...probably because of subject matter more than gameplay.
awesome of you to post this! I checked out the demo and was really impressed, haven't bought it yet because I know it will suck up all my free time and make me late to work, and scare off the girl i've been talking to... Congrats though on your first shipped title! and what an awesome title it is. Any chance there will be mod tools that allow you to extract/import models and textures? I usually only buy games nowadays to add to my reference folder
when stoof and i visited Iron Lore, BS Joe had been working so hard he could barely talk straight, but that didn't stop him from showing off all his sexy assets.
later, we also saw the work he did for the game
glad you're posting these Joe, it's a great big buttload of items-y goodness! as i said then, this is the kind of stuff that players spend almost all their time either looking at directly, or actively searching for in the game. you should be proud!
edit: i think you ought to post a few shots from the "matrix" items level, so people get a spatial representation of just how many items you did as well.
Wow! Great job! I've played the game since it came out and have been really impressed with the artwork. My character's weapons and armor look pretty damn sweet, so thanks for pimping her out!
These are very cool Joe, thanks for sharin'...The game turned out great...in fact I think I'm gonna fire up some TQ right now...instead of modeling damn you ...

I couldn't get the whole level in one shot so I spliced a few screens together. There are still a lot I couldnt squeeze in. This is a compilation of equipment in Titan Quest. Multiple artist worked on these including Joe, Ghost_Rider, Tarwater, Mike Sheidow, Brian Parnell, and Myself. If you look real hard you might even see the one sword that KillingPeople was able to get in the game.
WoW Joe. That's a buttload of asset goodness! How many "man hours" did all of this work take you? Congratulations on the shipped game and all this work you've done! :]
Six-Player co-op over LAN eh? Looks like my girl and I will have to pick this one up. :] We're always looking for good co-op games to play together. Congratulations again man, I can only imagine, at this point, what it must feel like to have a shipped game under your belt.
Wow, great stuff, Joe! You know, you rightfully deserve to wear all the pieces from first page as achievement medals on your uniform. And keep 'em coming!
Been playing this game a lot in the last few days and I must say, excellent work by you guys. Absolutely gorgeus graphics and plays like the good ol' days.
Anyways, the equipment hunt goes on! Must find those Obsidian set peices.
geezus - I couldn't begin to tell you. I've been with IL for a year and a half, though I was working on a lot of other things other than the above stuff too..it's great having a massive variety of things to work on!
Joe, I swear you almost bring a tear to my eyes. You have gone from school buddy to my hero in a matter of seconds. Actually you've always been an excellent artist, Im glad you have the chance to show an ass load of people now. Joe you rock. I love you man.
thanks fellas.
Jeremy - thanks dude, how's the west treating you??
DH - there's even more now!
Ok, I updated the first post with the last of my weapons, all the uniques that I did..or at least I think it's all of them...I've lost track at this point. Anyway, thanks again everyone!
Still trying to get my foot in the door. I found something to do for some extra money while I keep bugging game companies to hire me. I'm doing some architecture work right now which will at least let me do some work that will contribute to my environment skills. So, any hints to what your working on next?
OooOOoo. I'm so glad you updated with these uniques. These object show off you work and talent even more so. I was impressed originally, more so now. Great work man. :]
very nice.
if there's one thing I regret about leaving Iron Lore, I didn't get to gather all my armor together and make sweet beauty renders like you did joe. It all looks so cool all laid out and together Like that!
