the goblin head I started yesterday, which is great fun. The female peice has dragged for a long time.. but I am in no rush anyway (waiting for unreal tournament to be released)
posting makes me do more
Awesome work man...great control of surface tension and continuity...I wanna see the rest of that goblin so keep posting updates don't know how you are pulling off all those overlapping shapes in that bust without zbrush rippin apart the mesh or flippin out...good stuff!
appleman , looking great ! i love the deail on the goblin head ( same request as psych0 ) , i like the girl too , althou i think that the protection on her abdominal area could be changed, desnt fit much in my opinion
Love the goblin face, some great and unusual detail. And the chick looks nice, but she won't look so young for long with that cigar. :P
Post more often, the ego boost encourages you to finish stuff.
Psyk0 , work like this... add as much detail to a low rez level of detail as you can, once you have done all you can to it, then subdivide again. I built things up slowley but I had most of the shapes nailed on the lowest levels.
The higher sub division is useless to work in so just use that for superficial detail hope that helps!
Johny , yeah.. I may change that. But I have a great new idea for a character that I want to build now - she needs lots of work to get her anywhere near finished.
