I haven't been to these forums in a while, but I thought this would be the right place to post this. Me and my brother are starting a game development site called 3delement:
http://www.3delement.com
The idea of it is, a tutorial database for game development. Covering programming, mod development, and game art.
Right now the site is mostly programming but there are many visual arts tutorials there. What I wanted to ask was what people thought about the site (the idea in general, design, etc), and if I am catagorizing the visual arts section right. Both me and my brother are programmers, with little experience in game art, so how I catagorized it was mostly based on the title of the tutorial. We are also looking for help with this site, hopefully someone with some game art experience.
I also wanted to ask, if there are any good game art tutorial lists out there. I wanted to expand the visual art section but I am having trouble finding any more.
The site is still indevelopment however, I think we are going to add a news section to give people a reason to come back more often
anyway, tell me what you think

Two things I'd be inclined to do is add a little prefix before each link [Max], [Blender], [Maya] so it's easy to see at a glance what's what. Add a thumbnail or small screengrab (if available) image on the tutes page and maybe a brief rundown of tutorial contents.
Currently going to a tutorial link page reveals nothing about the contents which even confused me following link backs from my own tutes!
I wonder as well as a general point for the site whether a focus on tutorials specific to gaming and modding would be better than supporting a smorgusboard of tutorial which cover everything?
No problems with the site, loads fast which is what you want really.
I also added a lot of Ben Mathis's, aka poopinmymouth, tutorials
