yeah poor keith my step father , aged 61 , just had a stroke. 9 days in coma. very sad . nice man
please all spare a thought for the guy.

very sad for my mum as she has a had a lot to deal with in her life. just about to retire together.she lost my dad in bad circumstances 14 years ago
makes u think.been a bad year all round . lost my wife/life

he did smile apprently though. both teh nurse and my mum saw him smile. has Pneumonia in both lungs

My grandfather had a stroke some years ago, he suffered severe brain damage and is now half paralyzed and can't talk.

Thnks notman. he has had a 'really' major stroke. No real response apart from occasionally opening his eyes. He can use his right half and he keeps gripping things, but he is not really conscious.
My mum reckons he did smile at her briefly and touched her face, so he is still here.
Yeah it been two weeks now and the outlook is pretty bad, but there is always hope in my book.
