Hello there. I'm having a problem using hte symmetry modifier with something I'm working on. Whenever I try to apply symmetry to the mesh below it seems to be going with the bounding box's alignment. I think the bounding box is like that because I started with a plane, rotated and scaled it, then converted to an editable mesh. Either way, it won't symmetry correctly. I've tried to adjust the object's alignment, no go. Any help would be appreciated. Below is a screen cap of the front and left views to help show what I mean by my bounding box's alignment being...funky.
I know I could simply rotate the symmetry modifier itself, but I'm wondering if there's a way to change that bounding box's alignment (if that is indeed my problem). Thanks.
