Have you ever played breakdown for the XBox? The view of the player is the same as the person he is playing, my experiment is this: is it possible using the quake3 engine to bind the player model and view so when the model looks one way so does the player. i did the code and i tested all the defalut quake3 models, the view goes all over the place, hardly playable. if you are interested in helping you can iether donate the source to a md3 model so i can edit the animation (and hopefully smooth it out so it is playable under this feature) or make your own animation with my project.

the potential: tactical games, when you duck the view goes down as smooth as the model, no goofy camera tricks, having a run animation would show the gun, arms, clothing flying around him, gives more control to the artist in the way the game is played, more ways to express feelings.
