animating painted eye textures?

ok i noticed one thing,as im paiting on my eyes on my texture in photoshop,
when i animate this characeter,since im not using spheres for eyes,
how would i animate the eyes,
would i have to paint another set of eyes closed or what,

they looked to paint serval sets,
