I like the simple and easy navigation of your home page. Perhaps the bio needs to sound a bit more professional wink.gif

Take the user directly to your portfolio. Your site is currently intro > intro > then personal or shipped (under art) which is initially confusing as to what this is. A portfolio is designed for employers to view your art for review. Don't hide your work deep in clumby navigation. Organize and post more finished, fully posed characters to present yourself as a character artist for hire.

A resume (CV) would be great too.

Look at MoP’s and Pior’s sites for inspiration. These two guys have very well presented themselves as character artists for hire. With both sites, the user is immediately grabbed by their top quality work.

some nice stuff, i like the simple non-filtered shots of the characters - lets people get a look at the textures without clamouring for the flats. However, you might want to replicate this effect in a proper render : there's something distinctly half-arsed about viewport grabs that puts a lot of people off. The same goes for obviously work-in-progress stuff, think about showing off those bits of a model that you deem to be finished (eg head/shoulders shot). No employer is gonna be bothered with thinking about what you might be trying to achieve with the rest of the model, it's just off-putting, like the axis display.

btw, i've never understood links pages on professional portfolios. They're fair enough for pages set up as part of a CG community, but on a dedicated portfolio it just reeks of pointless name-dropping and/or arse-licking. And lets face it, you want a potential employer to be looking at YOUR work, not to be directed away to someone elses.
