First Super Sculpey piece

First piece with super sculpey. Still a WIP. Not sure If I'll finish it due to some armature errors etc.. I may take what I've learned from this one and start fresh. Anyway C&C welcome

awesome! its action santa! not bad for a first piece,, i worked with sculpey a bit and rember how much of a pain it was getting the armaturs right,, hard to predict what it will be like with clay over it

It looks like the thing got lopsided, did you have your armature fixed onto a decent base? Poxy works good for keeping things firm and in place.

I love the detail you put into the beard, especially for something that seams to be pretty small. My chubby fingers are hard to keep steady without smudging clay around

Yeah, he looks great except for the fact that he looks like he's stretching hi right leg on that rock or something... did he fall over?
