I joined this forum and wanted to post some of my texture work since I'm currently looking for work. If you are interested email me at dm@eonworks.com . Thanks!
All the non-Sci-Fi textures are diffuse maps. For more examples check out my home page at:
98? Damn, I remember that pic I think it was linked back on swma.net or somewheres.. I don't think you'll have a hard time getting a position. Good stuff.

Wow - impressive gallery you got michalczyk. Every now and then I feel I'm the only one in denmark doing texture work, but I guess I'm not. Top quality and very inspirational stuff.
I love the techy bits in the middle one with the fan. I guess you had some layers in that PS file.
How is work at Epic going?
Me? I get by... Freelancing is going slow at the moment. Hope to find work soon, or I'll be fasting. Thanks for informing your leads about me.
Very very nice work. Now *that* is the style of texture I like, not this trend of bland, desaturated coloring. The goldish textures remind me alot of Rorshach's "Clockwork Droid" texture set, which was always one of my all-time favorites.
Rorshach: Good to hear you enjoy the work at Epic. Hope your RSI is getting better after the surgeries.
Irritant: I agree with you about the bland trend these days. Especially if somebody else is responsible for the normal/other maps, things can end up looking quite odd.
The tech stuff looks great designwise but the materials on them seem rather weak, which shows a lot more in the rock/stone base textures, since you can see 'what's underneath' all the cool design and good shading a lot better.
From my ever critizicing pov i'd work a bit on creating more believable base materials
