Hey man, that looks great, I just think that when he lunges his head forward to shoot the fire, and when he pulls his head back, the motion is too quick...other then that it looks awsome.
Hmmm. I'm not so sure what you have here is working very well.
There needs to be a lot more anticipation for the fire breath. Right now he just scratches the ground and then goes into breathing fire. He'd probably be pissed off if he was going to breath some fire, so bring that out in the animation. Lower him down, get him into a more aggressive pose. Then bring his head up, puff up his chest, hold it for just a moment, and then BOOOOM, whip his head down and fire! Have him spray the area, not just shoot it straight out. Get the wings into it more as well.
The jump and shake at the end is sort of confusing. Is he happy about breathing fire? If so, it's not reading that way.
The fire particles are cool, but this movie seems to be more of a test of them, then of the animation. Put some more work into the animation and this would be very cool.
awesome stuff, I much prefer the second one, the motion on the legs and arms just makes more sense to me, and I like the floppy wings. With the first one I don't quite understand the arm/leg movement, but maybe it will move in the air a bit differently than shown?
I love it though!
