I like! Although methinks he could maybe have a second set of planes to give his "mohawk" more volume (assuming it'd going to be fur).

Keep the horns and the mohawk/fin?
They'd probably look good together. Maybe you should make that mohawk thing more detailed and turn it into a spined sail? (like on a Dimetrodon)
