Well my last post was pretty absysmal and in the wrong place. So here I go again. Anyways, hello to everyone here. Im trying to get more active in forums since Ill be graduating soon and I really value the feedback of my peers on my work. It seems like I learn the most from friends advice, and seeing as how Ill be leaving my school I come in search of new input. Anyhoot, I look forward to meeting you all. The eyes seem a bit too far appart and the forehead seems a bit small but it could just be the angle of the pic.

Hey, thanks for the comments. The face was the hardest part for me. I like the rest of the piece but that head is driving me nuts. I have a wire on me but no close ups of the face.. which Im kinda thankful for since its kinda ughhhhh - ly. But hey Im here to learn so I ll post one in a bit.

The model is looking very nice, and I really like the bow.

For the face though it looks like a mask. it almost looks like the face is wider than the rest of the head, and it seems a bit flat. And as was mentioned the eyes are too far apart (and I think too big). Also, it looks like the head slopes back a bit too much, though it's hard to tell.

Anyways, still a great model.

The brow is to high up and protrudes a bit too far. The lips and nose seem out of alignment. Your face is pretty high polly so it shouldnt be too hard to add some more detail to it, lines, creaces bulges and the like to flesh it out a bit. Have a look at some faces and their proportions to help you out.

Thanks again. I appreciate the feedback, Ill work on smoothing her out. I come from a pretty comic, booky background so I have a little trouble when it comes to realistic proportions. heh, and now it seems in my attempts to give it more life Im over compensating in the wrong areas. Nevertheless. Ill get it eventually

Just put a pic of a face in different angles in your viewports to use as reference. I find that helps alot

I was trying to do that but I find that it's hard to find a good varied reference source... well without subscribing to to a site. Any good free sites?

google images works pretty good.. I also downloaded ariana.zip from somewhere it was a female face front and side..
