I've done some pretty kooky ones in the past but never bothered to save them. It would be handy if you could save them out as jpg in one click right there in the window. I like the car one best out of that bunch, possibly as you might expect from me :P
Netmeeting had Whiteboard for years. But who the hell used Netmeeting? I've tried OpenCanvas, but with connection problems. Could have been a router issue. I'll give Warpaint a try.
For hosting:
When proper port has been forwarded, you connect in the program itself (network menu) and then you launch the java server (Not the other way around). People should see your canvas online in serverlist.
Psyko, I just start up the Java Server and then connect to it through the public server list on their website.
It would be nice if people advertised when they are online. Maybe we could even have some people hosting at certain hours. I'm at my desk most weeknights, so there's no reason I couldn't just have the server client running in the background.
I think it's very cool to be able to interact in realtime like that. Johny was correcting my mistakes as soon as I made them.
