I'm looking for a game engine, here are my requirements, and maybe you guys can point me in a good direction.
Must have Maya compatible export.
Needs to be as simple as possible. I don't want to load animations, edit text files, or recompile every time I change something. Ideally I would have a rigged character, hit export, then tab to the engine and press a button and have it as the main character. I can now run around to test deformations and move it into and out of shadows and lights. If I see something I don't like I make changes in maya, re-export and tab back to the engine, press a button, and see the changes update.
It should be commercially available by buying the game (like UT2k4 or Swat4) or free.
Any ideas?

You can do that and drag/assign a third person controller script to your model, fairly easy.
http://otee.dk - It's a good game-engine, easy to use, supports maya, cheap... and mac only

Guess I need another stipulation. Must be PC compatible. Thanks though.
It's fairly simple. The most you would have to do is open a template for orbit object or the likes. Supports shaders/normals etc exports to exe/web.
