Sort of a cruddy shot here, but I'm just stoked to finally have a workflow now for UVIng in Max. Thanks Poop for the video tuts!

The impact site will be a bit more over-the-top, but if anyone has some input for adding some zest to this I'm all ears.

use textporter or render uvw to have your uvw layout man looking good.

Sadly, I'm using 7 and am trying to do this sans plugins (just this time around for learning purposes).

i wouldnt stress bothering with the MAX UV export. Texporter is so standard issue it should be in the max help files by now =P

I like the idea, but the model seems to lose a lot of the charm that the concept had. Looks like you decided to go more realisitc, which I think kills it considering there is a enormous red marker in it. The missile felt much more 'real' in the concept.
