I know, it isn't the most dynamic of all boardgame pieces. But chess is just about the only boardgame I like.

Blocking out:


Front will be like that of a Greek/Roman bireme, with a ramming tip up front. Cannon speaks for itself, even though chess pieces can't attack from a range, and wheels are for movement, obviously. The guy on top needs some serious loving at this stage, I was thinking of a General-ish look. Maybe I'll add some flags here and there.

Final model, I've started on the unwrap. I know the distribution of the polies isn't great, but the tower was never meant to be round. Plan for the texture is as if it were a winter-camouflaged tank, to represent that it belongs to the white player... If I can get the unwrap done decently, that is.
