I don't know how i did it but somehow, i disabled my default viewport quad shortcut in max. it used to be rightclick, but now its just nothing. i tried to get it back in the custom ui menu, i loaded up another ui scheme, i even reset everything to their defaults in max, but i can't seem to re-activate the control. does anyone know how to fix this, if not i'll just have to try re-installing.

Customize > Preferences > Viewports > Mouse Control > Right Click Menu Over Selected Only... is this checked?

yes, it was cheacked, i unchecked it, and problem solved. thank you very much, i was getting frustrated about that.

Awesome. These programs get so bloated, there's always something to get in the way isn't there? But then again it's useful to have so many options. Glad I could help.
