the original line, not the overdubbed one, was funnier : "that's why i kill chinamen for the railroad". If i ever saw it in film, that is. Which i haven't.

Hah, I didn't spot that it was dubbed. This was one of those cult films that I totally missed first time around, and only caught fairly recently. I can only assume that it doesn't age well, since I thought it was completely abysmal. The script was poor and completely unbelievable, the acting was atrocious, the characters utterly unlikeable, but crucially of all for a 'comedy', never at any point was it in any way shape or form remotely amusing.

Perhaps its a cultural difference thang, or perhaps it's only funny to 15 year olds because of the lewdness, but either way, I really did NOT get it.
