there is no idea behind this, i was just sketching arround in PS... well, well, now i`m here;)

His legs seem off in your orthos.


His calves are too thick when looking at his feet in my opinion. His upper leg seems to be a bit skinny when looking at the front/back images.

The anatomy looks a little strange overall. You might want to check your proportions. I would like to see some more fishy parts. how about some gills or fins

yes, silo is a very nice tool (in Silo2 we will be able to paint displacement like in zbrush and rendering out normalmaps)

...and the girls still like Silouser

here is my next update (model is final)

i will wate for the Silo2 Beta for UVmapping and modeling an hiresmodel (for normalmapping)

The Silo2 Unwrapping will take a litle bit of getting used to for Max users, but essentially it's a pelt mapper that allows you to lay out your UVs in 2D AND in 3D on a copy of your model. Also you can use any modelling tool in the UV edior - its essentially just a 2D version of a 3d model, so snapping, welding, relaxing, rotating scaling etc. all work jsut as they do on a model, with the same keyboard shortcuts.

i know... as a blenderuser i knew these kind of unwrapping;)

the reason why i`m waiting: i will have every kind of tool in one app... i´m soooo lazy:D

Silo rules! I use it for all my modeling now. I cant wait for v2.
