So I decided to test myself by turning this into a 2 day trial.
I did the sketch last week. Started the model last night. Unwrapped and optimized today - now I've got six hours left to texture.

damn man, you're nuts. Good luck with it though, it's looking great so far. Although the head/body proportions might not quite fit into the contest?

Thanks Tulkamir. I was a little worried about it not fitting the requirements but the description said "midgit" and I liked the concept too much not to do it.

Haha, damn man that's sick, I'm loving it. The arm's musculature looks a bit goofy right now, but I'm assuming that's a WIP thing. Keep it up, this guy is looking awesome.

Surprised the hell out of me, I checked in and expected to see 0 votes since I didn't vote for myself :P
There was more I wanted to do, but just ran out of time. Giving myself just two days was a bit too ambitious, but a good learning experience.
