Also take a look back in this forum a page or so to find a thread with a long title like "normalmap/ambiocc generator" started by Crazybutcher ... it's a very long thread but does contain some tips and ideas too, if the PDF help file doesn't get you going.
Anyway it's very easy to use, you hardly need the help at all except to find out what materials are what for the 3d viewer.
