check this out. that Gears multi video was pretty good, if short, but here's a video from Cliffy demo-ing the first level of the game. first half or so of the video is Q and A, so if you want to see him giving the demo, just skip to about halfway through.

this is the first time i've seen clear demonstration of the way the game handles cover, and i'm very excited--they're really dialed it in and it feels all beefy and visceral, hats off to the whole team over at Epic there. i was skeptical at first, given that Cliffy was prone to a lot of tall talk on G4 and on a variety of sites, but this game really looks like it could pull off what it promised, which is incredibly exciting. the admiration for RE4 and certain other games seems to come through as well, which is also extremely encouraging.

so if GoW ends up as good as it looks like it will and Dead Rising is good, then the 360 just got another customer!
